Coach Wins Award

The Pooch Coach wins "Best Private
Trainer"
for entire San Francisco Bay Area

San Francisco (March 2, 2009) - The Pooch Coach was voted best
Private Trainer in Bay Woof's first annual Beast
of the Bay Awards. They received nearly 2,500 ballots and many
names were mentioned, but in the final tally The Pooch Coach led
the pack. You can read about all the winners in their March issue,
to be distributed starting on February 28th, 2009 at hundreds of
distribution points throughout the Bay Area.
This award follows The Pooch Coach's "Best Private Trainer"
award from the San Francisco Chronicle's online poll just 3 months
ago.
Beverly Ulbrich, President and Founder of The Pooch Coach, LLC,

top trainer once again! I love being part of this community and
helping the people, dogs, rescue groups and other organizations

Seen regularly on TV, including KRON 4, CBS, Animal Planet and
"MythBusters", as well as working in movies and on stage,
Beverly Ulbrich is the President and Founder of The Pooch Coach
LLC. She is an expert canine trainer and behaviorist. She has been
working with dogs for over 30 years and is the sole behaviorist
for many nonprofits in the San Francisco Bay Area. She helps people
with their dog training needs through her private, one-on-one, personalized
training programs. She has extensive knowledge and success with
solving aggression issues and helping shy, fearful dogs. She was
voted the "best private dog trainer" in the Bay Area in
the SF Chronicle's Best of the Bay in 2008.
Beverly has been a full time dog trainer and a member of the APDT
and IACP for almost 6 years. She quit her job as an executive in
high technology so that she could help animals, which is her real
passion. She provides her clients with obedience training and helps
them rehabilitate their dogs with mild to severe behavior problems.
She also has volunteered as the sole behaviorist for several non
profits in San Francisco: PAWS (www.pawssf.org)
, VET SOS (www.vetsos.org),
Share-A-Pet (www.shareapet.org), and Rocket Dog Rescue (www.rocketdogrescue.org),
where she is also Secretary of the Board.
Beverly has given dozens of lectures and workshops on dog training
and safety. Most of these lectures were also raising money for non-profits,
such as the San Francisco Dog Owner's Group (www.sfdog.org)
and the Friends of San Francisco Animal Care and Control (www.fsfacc.org).
She just completed her first of a series of training videos, and

Beverly is certified as an AKC Canine Good Citizen Test evaluator,
