Coronavirus (COVID-19) Shelter in Place Hours

We know these are tough times, not only for you, but for your dog.
Here’s what we can do to help:1. If you have an appointment already scheduled:
We can still conduct your training appointment or consultation via phone or, if it’s urgent and I need to see your dog, we can meet at a park for 15-30 mins to go over a lesson or conduct a consult. We can also just wait until things calm down.  But please let me know your preference when I reach out about your individual appointment. (I am hoping some people will opt out for now so I’m not overworked during this stressful time!)

2. If you’d like to have an appointment soon.
We can conduct your appointment via phone and I can give you some new work and then send you a follow up, as usual. I do have to limit my hours as well as my exposure time, so please be considerate.  I will do my best to accommodate everyone’s needs, so please be patient!

Priority will be given to existing clients and emergencies.

We are already posting ideas of things to do with your dog on our Facebook page, so please take advantage of that.

-Who would like to watch live training tips online with my dog, Musik and me during this time (most likely via Facebook)?

-Who would still like to attend a Meetup where we keep 6 feet away and meet at our usual dog park?  Note that strangers can ask your dog to sit for treat at the end of your 6′ leash, and dogs aren’t passing any viruses, so we can still get some good work done.

If you are interested in either or both of these options, please email and tell us what you’d like and any particular topic or command you’d like to learn.

Final Note – It is critical that your dog gets walked EVERY DAY!  Stressful times require more exercise, not less. If you cannot go out, then ask a neighbor or a friend to help out.  There are hundreds of people who can’t have a dog due to work & travel, and therefore would love to help while there is idle time.

Here is some more info on walking your dog every day.

Take care and stay healthy!!
